It's difficult to fully describe the appreciation we have for Aaron and his family.  Not only is he an incredible craftsman, he is a wonderful person whom I trust completely in my home and around my children.  He is fully invested and thoughtful in each step of the way. He takes time to meticulously assess possibilities, listen to our ideas and concerns and come up with solutions that are not only functional, but beautiful.  He is a perfectionist, works tirelessly and sees to every detail.  He enjoys his work and loves a challenge! 

He has done beautiful interior work for us including tub tile, shelving, backsplashes, doors, closet doors, lighting, finish work and window trim, as well as extensive exterior work that includes, siding, windows, decks, railings and steps. Everything is gorgeous and we could not be happier.

We have had several contractors throughout the years and he is by far the best and I recommend him with 100% confidence.

Aaron Marquez, owner of Artisan Fine Finishing, has been instrumental in the successful completion of two remodeling jobs in my home—(1) preparation for refinishing existing hardwood flooring and preparation for and painting of the entire interior and (2) remodeling of the kitchen and two bathrooms.  This is an older home and both projects required multiple “little” and “surprise” projects to be completed in conjunction with the major projects.  Aaron was simply great!  He did the work when promised, he creatively solved multiple “issues,” he ensured that subcontractors were as diligent as he is, he didn’t waste time or materials, and he worked and communicated with efficiency and humor.  He is honest and trustworthy and I am already thinking about another project that I will ask him to do for me!  I have nothing but praise for his expertise and character.

I have used Aaron Marquez on a number of different projects over the last 5 years. His work is done in a timely manner and is impeccable. The last project was a kitchen remodel last year. Because of our trust in Aaron we gave him a set of keys and left on a trip to Brazil for two months. We came back to a beautiful new kitchen.

Artisan Fine Finishing has done work inside (kitchen, bath, laundry and updating details throughout) and outside (doors, covered deck and garden hardscape) of my home and I have been pleased with all of it! Aaron first did a project for me on a house I used to live in putting in some pretty complicated entry doors--big heavy doors I’d done some sandblasted glass art for. It was not  your average door installation. It was really challenging but he definitely rose to the occasion. He did a very fine job there so when I moved into my new house I hired Aaron again for some modifications I needed to make. He’s a very professional contractor, well equipped, and runs a clean job site which is important to me. Good value as far as contractors go and he’s an easy guy to work with. He has a lot of good ideas and is willing to discuss other peoples ideas. I had nothing but a good experience. He’s got a good idea for structure and design. He’s not just a builder--I would say he has an eye of a designer in him. That makes a difference when if comes down to thinking how you’re going to do things. I would highly recommend Aaron. I hope I can schedule some time with him again because he’s great.

It's been terrific working with Aaron. He’s so meticulous and prompt.  He shows up on time and is very clean. I’m a little obsessive about cleanliness so he’s always so careful in our home. What’s also exceptional about Aaron is his ability to teach you about things you’re not even aware of: you invite him into your home and share with him a vision for your space and design ideas, and then he just opens up this whole other world of opportunities in terms of products and different ideas.  He’s always mindful of your budget and sensitive to the fact that when you’re entering these projects you’re already nervous about how much money you’re going to spend and how it will turn out. He’s such a friendly, kind person and very honest. You can’t find people who work with that level of craftsmanship and integrity.

Aaron was just an excellent contractor and a true artisan in his attention to detail. It has to be perfect for Aaron, and he makes it perfect. When he came in right away he looked at our pantry and said, “oh, I have a vision for your pantry.” He did an amazing job. He completely transformed an old closet into a beautiful functional draw-system pantry. We love getting in there now! The wainscoting he installed in our dining room was so precise. He did a beautiful job on it. His painting is also light years above any other painter we’ve ever hired. If you want perfection, Aaron's the guy. He really went far beyond what we had planned to do on our entire remodel, but he took the time to listen to what we wanted because he just wanted to make us happy. We will always be grateful for Aaron and so appreciative of what he has done for our home.
